Legoland Florida & California to Debut new Indoor Roller Coasters in 2026

  Legoland Florida and Legoland California have some thrilling new curves in store for park guests, according to park owner Merlin Entertainments. Both parks will be adding what are described as new “groundbreaking” indoor roller coasters in 2026.Merlin has invested approximately $90 million dollars for the creation of these two new attractions, the largest in-park investment in Legoland Resort history.Merlin Entertainments CEO Fiona Eastwood relates that the two new coasters are “designed, co-created and imagined by the amazing creative team at the Lego Group and the unmatched talent of our Merlin Magic Makers.” No further elaboration of the rides was offered, rather she notes that the park hopes that “the mystery and anticipation adds to awesome thrills to come.”The coasters will use cutting edge ...   [read more]

  On Tuesday, the senate passed President Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill" and is currently pending final review by the house.  Despite efforts by the Seasonal Employment Alliance (SEA) to get their proposed H-2B Certified Seasonal Employer Designation language included, the bill, ultimately, the Senate did not include any visa or workforce related provisions, including Trump's Golden Visa. According to the SEA, "We always understood that the effort to include H-2B in the reconciliation was an uphill battle, but we are always going to make a push to get H-2B included in any moving legislative vehicle."Reportedly, one of the major opponents of including any H-2B relief in the bill was Senator Grassley of Iowa. According to Grassley, the bill was intended for the President's priorities and absent White House direction, he would not include the language in the bill. David Griffith of CMD Enterprises Passes

  David Edward Griffith (1944–2025) David Edward Griffith passed away peacefully at 5:15 a.m. on May 16, 2025.David began his career working for several traveling carnivals before saving enough to purchase his own ride and operate independently. In the 1980s and 1990s, he partnered with companies in Colombia and Mexico, helping manage and operate multiple amusement parks in both advisory and leadership roles. He later expanded into brokering rides throughout South America, offering insight and experience that helped shape the amusement industry across the region.He played a pivotal role in the development and sale of the Wacky Worm and other Fajume amusement rides, serving as the company's U.S. representative for many years. In 2010, David helped found CMD LEDs alongside his son, Chad, carrying forward the same principles and steady guidance that defined his career.
