It's a Marvel-ous Thing: Interactive Marvel Experiences at Disney

Marvel experiences are coming to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. – with Marvel's Spider-Man about to string the first web. The attraction will also be located at Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris.The attraction will be named WEB at both parks, and guests are encouraged to join the heroes in action. UPDATED 5/23/2019On May 15, USCIS began issuing receipt notices for H-2B filings that were filed for the additional allotment of visas that was announced previously.  Receipts have been dated May 15,  2019 throughout the week.The additional visas are allotted to only returning workers and it has been estimated that only 66% of the 30,000 cap will be utilized.  On Friday, Robert Law, senior advisor at USCIS  office of policy and strategy confirmed that the 30,000 cap was not met and there will be no lottery.James Judkins, president of JKJ Workforce reported on Friday, May 17 that their office is forwarding copies of receipt notices to employers as they are received.  “About 1/3 of the companies that were capped out have been receipted as of 8 am this morning”, stated Judkins.   “We expect that the balance will be receipted within the next 48 hours.”On Wednesday, May 22, Judkins updated ...   [read more]

H-2B Rule Posted - Petitions for Returning Workers Now Being Accepted

Petitioners are required to include an additional form with their filings

As reported earlier this week, the Department of Homeland Security published its final rule on accepting petitions for the newly released additional 30,000 H-2B visas for returning workers.  The rule outlining the filing instructions has been published in the Federal Register. Petitioners filing for additional visas must sign an attestation form attesting to the following items: Your business will suffer irreparable harm if you do not receive your H-2B workers; The workers you petition for have held H-2B status during one of the last three fiscal years (2016, 2017 or 2018). If you are using an agency for your filings, please download and complete the attestation form and submit it to your agent.  If you are filing your petition yourself, the form will need to be completed and submitted with your petition.The attestation form can be downloaded here.
