DHS Secretary Nielsen's Resignation is believed to have no Impact on H-2B Visa Release
Rides 4U - New & Used Rides

On Sunday, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen announced that she would be resigning from her position as DHS Secretary.  According to the Seasonal Employment Alliance, Nielsen's resignation should not impact the Administrations decision to release an additional 30,000 H-2B visas.  The decision to release the visas was made in coordination with Nielsen and senior White House officials and not solely the decision of Nielsen.

As of today, an official announcement outlining the filing instructions and a timeframe for the additional 30,000 H-2B visas has yet to be announced.
