H-2B Returning Worker Act of 2021 On the Table - Call to Action
Rides 4U - New & Used Rides

The following "call to action" was written by JKJ Workforce regarding a proposed Returning Worker Exemption for the H-2B Program.  A returning worker exemption would allow H-2B visa workers who previously worked in the USA the ability to work in the USA in 2022 without counting against the cap.  The first half of the cap has already been met and it is predicted demand will be at an all time high for workers for the second half of the cap.

For the majority of carnival companies, many amusement facilities, and some concessionaires, the H-2B program is imperative.

Congressman Henry Cuellar has introduced the HR 3897 H-2B Returning Worker Exception Act of 2021. It currently has 29 co-sponsors. We need to crank that number up in the next 24 hours to over 100 and we can do this.

We can do this if YOU take action right now!
Very simple, email AND call your member of Congress, tell them about your business, the fact that the first half of the fiscal year cap hit on September 30 and that the administration failed to release any supplemental visas.

Explain to them the adverse effects the H-2B program will have on your business should you be capped out, trying to recover from the pandemic, and explain the damage.

Ask them to simply reach out to Henry Cueller’s Office, by contacting Travis Knight travis.knight@mail.house.gov TODAY to sign on to the HR 3897.

DO NOT CONTACT TRAVIS YOURSELF, CONTACT YOUR OWN MEMBER OF CONGRESS AND ASK THEM TO REACH OUT TO CUELLAR’S OFFICE BY CONTACTING TRAVIS.

To phone them AND to email your member of congress should not take more than 15 minutes of your time and must be done today.

  • Do not contact SENATORS only your single Member of Congress.
