The Showmen Supplies booth at IAAPA debuted a refreshed 2025 design centered on comfort and conversation, offering inviting spaces for customers to relax and discuss business. The booth also showcased several new innovations from Fun LED, but one of the company's key messages this year was its expanded inventory of ride parts sourced from both domestic and international manufacturers.
“We've been focusing on how to better serve our customers with in-stock parts and fast service,” said Jason Skurow, sales manager for Showmen Supplies and Semcor Mfg. “We've been leaning into overseas partnerships to become a better supplier for customers who own European rides. Every year, we are trying to improve all our partnerships.”
Although Showmen Supplies continues to offer its full catalog of LED lighting, electrical supplies, and related products, ride parts have increasingly become a major part of its business. The company currently stocks a wide variety of parts from manufacturers including Chance Rides, Wisdom Rides of America, KMG, Technical Park, Zamperla, Fajume, Fabbri, and more. In 2026, Showmen plans to make a significant investment in expanding its inventory of Technical Park parts.
The company has also increased its supply of Italian bumper car components. Showmen now carries an extensive selection of parts for C&S Bumper Cars, many of which are interchangeable with parts used by other Italian-built bumper car systems. For customers looking to upgrade their bumper car rides, Showmen Supplies also offers C&S bumper car vehicles. C&S remains widely recognized across Europe for its innovative concepts and exceptional build quality.
Like many companies working with international suppliers, Showmen continues to navigate the effects of tariffs on inventory and purchasing decisions. “We've been buying more parts and keeping more parts on the shelf to eliminate the need for costly air shipments from overseas,” Skurow explained.
Showmen Supplies has also served as the U.S. representative for Fun LED for several years. Fun LED products—popular in Italy and used on many attractions produced by manufacturers such as SBF/Visa—are gaining increased visibility in the American market as well. The programmable lighting systems allow ride owners to create custom, standout effects tailored to their attractions. One of the newest enhancements Skurow highlighted is a feature that automatically bypasses a burnt-out LED without causing downstream failures. In typical programmable LED systems, a single faulty diode can cause an entire section to fail; Fun LED's technology ensures the rest of the light show remains intact.
On the manufacturing side, Semcor Manufacturing continues to make strides in upscaling production of the Owen Trailers line of fun houses and glass houses. “We're getting to the point where production can be repeated easily,” Skurow said. Semcor acquired the rights to the full Owen Trailer catalog after the pandemic but has devoted substantial time to re-engineering the attractions. “We want to be able to put the Owen Trailers name back on the midway and make them a focal point.”
While Semcor owns the rights to all Owen-designed products—including fun houses, glass houses, and dark rides—the company's near-term focus will remain on expanding production of fun houses and glass houses.
Throughout IAAPA, Skurow and the Showmen Supplies team kept busy meeting with both new and returning customers. Despite the challenges the industry faced in 2025, Skurow expressed optimism about what lies ahead. With strengthened partnerships, expanded inventory, and renewed manufacturing momentum, he believes 2026 is poised to be a strong year for the industry and for the customers Showmen Supplies proudly serves.
