Raging Waters Los Angeles Offers Splashy Upgrades

Raging Waters Los Angeles, located in San Dimas, Calif., just opened for its 2025 summer season with enhanced experiences for parkgoers.
At 60-acres, Raging Waters is California's largest water park. The enhancements should bring plenty of tasty enjoyment to guests. One of the key upgrades is the addition of Senor Solis, a Mexican cuisine eatery offering a menu that includes tacos, bowls, and burritos. Serving up what the park calls a “new take” on traditional Mexican dining, the focus is on fast, fresh meals, including carne asada, chicken, rice, beans, and mini churros.

Donald Spiller, general manager of Raging Waters Los Angeles, says the restaurant offers “a little bit of everything that Southern Californians love.” He cites menu favorites that include “queso corn, chips and guacamole” among them. Senor Solis makes a strong addition to the park's line up of food options such as Pipeline Pizza Express, Bayside Burger, and Sharkey's chicken tenders and popcorn shrimp, along with a variety of sweets and snacks locations.
But the new menu is far from the only enhancement to the park, which has continued the revamp that began back in 2024. The park has added new lockers, shaded rest and dining areas, and a new eco-aware, water saving turf to the grounds.
Along with the new dining option, park guests can look forward to enjoying far more locker space with almost 1,000 new and upgraded lockers, along with the extension of shaded areas. That extension means that shading is now present in the queue line for the Aqua Rocket ride, and on the platform of the Dragon's Den bowl ride.
The extra shade should be especially welcome for the Aqua Rocket riders, as the attraction is a big draw during the height of the summer season. The ride is California's only hydromagnetic water coaster.
The rides are just two of some 50 plus rides along with a 30,000 square-foot water play area, including a one-million-gallon wave pool, the fast and furious drop thrills of Bombs Away, and a lazy river. Many attractions will benefit from the park enhancement of eco-conscious, water-saving turf seating areas for guests.
For those seeking a more luxurious time at the park, Raging Waters has also added new extra-large VIP cabanas. There are also new tech upgrades, assuring that guests can stay connected through a new self-service ticket kiosk, new mobile app, and their mobile season pass.

According to Spiller, “The upcoming season will continue to deliver more fun, more thrills and more amenities for our Season Passholders and water park guests to enjoy at Raging Waters.” He adds that “The team continues to make massive investments into the park – some you can see and some you can't – so that every ride, every meal and every interaction delivers the best summer day you'll have all season long.”
This year also brings a number of special events to the park, including the World's Largest Rubber Duck on Memorial Weekend. The massive appearance of the 6-story duck is “billed” as encouraging guest participation in SwimBrayv's Dashing Duck Drawing. For the event, SwimBrayv will release more than 2,000 rubber ducks in the park's lazy river on Monday, May 26. Those who participate will have the chance to win a gift basket valued up to $500. Along with the Largest Rubber Duck, the park will also host a ten-foot Baby Duck for photo ops.

When the rubber ducks are released into the lazy river Memorial Monday afternoon, several mermaids will swim through an "enchanted tropical river” to select a random winning duck, purchased by a lucky participating park guest. Each duck donation will directly contribute to making water safety education more accessible.
Another special event this year is the park's annual Father's Day Flop on Sunday, June 15th. Guests sign up to impress a judging panel by making their “most frightful flop” into the water. Participation is limited to 15 guests, making this a first come/first serve event.
The week after Father's Day brings Season Passholder Buddy Days June 16-22. Passholders can purchase up to 5 discounted tickets for their guests at $19.99. Both that same week and the week of August 11-17 mark Season Passholder Appreciation Week. Passholder discounts will increase for additional food and merch savings, as well as early ride times offered on specific rides on specific days. There will be buy one/get one 50% off food deals and merch discounts those weeks as well, both to be announced.

Finally, every Saturday in September, parkgoers will be invited to Pirate Days Treasure Hunt. Guests who join the hunt can find rubber duck pirates hidden throughout the park and win a prize from Captain Quack's treasure chest. Those who participate will also receive Raging Waters swag bags for as long as supplies last, closing out a winning season for the park on September 28th.
Season passes start at $75, while single day tickets are priced at $39.95 Along with the variety of park upgrades this year, Raging Waters is also offering a new season dining pass, priced at $119.95, as well as a new birthday package ticket & meal deal for birthday groups of 15 or more people.
