TapNGo: Providing Carnivals & Parks with Accountability through Digital Ticketing
TapNGo™ offers a comprehensive range of RFID credential solutions powered by an intuitive software platform that simplifies digital ticketing transactions and access management. This technology is being adopted by carnivals, state and county fairs, food and wine festivals, live music events, and amusement parks, replacing the time-consuming and error-prone use of paper tickets and old methods of reporting. The system also helps reduce wait times for rides, concessions, and games, providing a more convenient and user-friendly experience for both guests and operators.
According to TapNGo™ president Shara Pathak, the platform “manages access control and cashless purchasing,” while empowering event organizers through “precise transaction tracking, digital access control, and actionable insights, making it the ultimate tool for modern event management.”

Recently, TapNGo™ onboarded Wade Shows mid-season, a major undertaking that came with unique challenges. “One of the primary hurdles was conducting a thorough assessment and transition while events were already underway,” Pathak explains. “Transitioning from long-standing systems required careful planning and collaboration. While the platform transition itself went smoothly, since both systems were Android-based, adapting backend visuals and report layouts to meet Wade Shows' specific needs required a step-by-step approach. We worked closely with their team, reviewing every detail from the moment a card is tapped and activated to the delivery of the final report to their clients.”
Another challenge involved modernizing hardware components while ensuring compatibility with existing systems. TapNGo™ collaborated closely with Wade Shows' internal team and their clients to learn, adapt, and fine-tune the process. Thanks to Wade Shows' positive mindset and TapNGo's ongoing support, the transition was seamless and successful.
Since June, TapNGo™ and Wade Shows have completed 20 successful events together, including the New York State Fair, Oklahoma State Fair, Delaware State Fair, Missouri State Fair, and Nebraska State Fair.

“The TapNGo™ system is designed to enhance efficiency, security, and user experience through its comprehensive features,” Pathak notes. “It enables seamless cashless transactions by linking payment accounts to RFID credentials, reducing fraud, and speeding up transactions. The platform also provides real-time analytics on financials, crowd density, staffing, and campaign performance—offering detailed transaction breakdowns by value, location, and more.”
Additional benefits include eliminating employee theft and retaining unspent funds on cards. TapNGo's hardware solutions, such as self-service kiosks and rugged handheld scanners, ensure smooth operations, even without internet connectivity.
A major strength of TapNGo™ is its dedicated customer support, which includes on-site assistance, technical help, and hands-on collaboration. This customer-first approach sets TapNGo™ apart from other digital ticketing providers. “TapNGo™ ensures all clients have direct access to a member of our team any day of the week,” Pathak emphasizes. “That level of accessibility creates a unique and reliable partnership.”

TapNGo™ hardware also distinguishes itself from competitors through durability and performance. Its self-service kiosks and long-lasting handheld devices are designed to operate continuously with minimal recharging, maximizing efficiency and ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and their guests.
Pathak also highlights TapNGo's commitment to transparency and security. While the company partners with an independent third-party manufacturer for kiosk systems, TapNGo™ runs its own separate platform. “Unlike some competitors, we never take custody of client funds, every transaction goes directly into our clients' accounts, which are established with their own payment processor. The operating system for the payment gateway is isolated from the TapNGo system,'” she explains. “This approach reinforces our dedication to integrity, security, and client trust.”
Looking ahead, TapNGo™ is developing an app-based option that will allow users to store and redeem credits directly from their mobile devices, providing even greater convenience and accessibility.
TapNGo™ will be exhibiting at Booth #4000 at IAAPA.
